Welcome to my first ever “SUNDAZE’ post, where I talk about my week. (However, SUNDAZE #1 will be a general update, as I’ve been away for so long) It feels like I haven’t blogged in forever, which is true I haven’t! For the past few months, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about my future and the future of my blog. I realised that I’m not going to be able to turn this blog or my YouTube channel into a full-time job anytime soon. So, am feeling down about the prospect of not being able to fulfil my dream of working for myself online, I decided to completely switch off from my blog and take a big break.

In the first week of completely switching off, I got a message from the lovely poppy @myfoodstories_ asking me what the best way to make a logo for her Instagram and future blog was. At first, I was a bit unsure of whether to offer to do it, as I hadn’t done any graphic design content in quite some time. I wasn’t sure if my skills would still be up to scratch, but after spending some time thinking about it, I decided to face my fears and give it a go. Let’s say this was the best decision I ever made. The set up took longer than I had imagined. Through this task, I realized that my blog The Alexandra Edit was using a theme that most bloggers were using. To show off my skills, I decided to rebrand it completely which always takes longer than you expect.
Then once I completed that, I started my March Media Co site, created this whole simply/modern site which I thought looked great, showed my Mum and in a nice way she basically said it was S**t! Which at first I was a bit upset about, but I’m so glad I listened to her and changed it, as now it looks amazing.

I had started a design website in 2010, but life/work got in the way, and it got pushed to one side, Fast forward eight years in a job I hate and more time on my hands, I decided it was best to get back into it and do something I enjoy.

I can design a WordPress website, logos and other graphic designs like business cards, email signatures etc.

I can also help you with your social media strategies like creating content for all social media platforms, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram & Twitter.

If you want to grow your blog or business online, feel free to contact me. I will help you to make a game plan and understand how to advertise and drive traffic through social media to your business.

I can also monitor various platforms for updates which may affect the social media marketing strategy. This can help you to have enough time to grow your online business easily. You will be empowered to stay tuned with your target audience perfectly and convert them into sales.
I’ve also decided to take up studying again, to up my skills in all things social media. I feel like I know a lot about social media, but at the same time, I still have so much to learn.

So as much I’d like to be regularly blogging and keep up to date on all my social media platforms. I will have to take a bit of a back step from time to time as I’d really like to focus more of my time on my studies so that I can work on getting more clients and ongoing clients. I will also spend time working on my other project which I’ll talk about sometime in the near feature.

I will try and post on my blog once a week as I love writing, but I’ve decided I’m not going to stick to any schedule because whenever I try, it never works out. I’m just going to post when I feel like it and talk about topics that I love.

I can relate to you, because I don’t think I can make blogging into a full time job either, since I already work full time in retail.. However, like you, l love to write, so I try to write at least twice a week. 🙂

Rebranding took so much longer than I expected too. It was worth the wait and time.
