Fathers day dinner outfit

For some people around the world it was fathers day on Sunday. So seeing as we went out to dinner to celebrate, thought I would share with you my outfit. I know it’s a bit late but I’ve been really busy trying to work on my assignments for past few nights, which never actually happen as I either ran out of time/ was busy doing other things or procrastinated and watched movie.

Anyways here’s my outfit not what I’d planned on wearing. When out on saturday and brought a brand new spring/summer dress and dug out my comfy TopShop heels to wear. Then when I came to wear it on Sunday night, it was cold, windy and raining heavily so thought it was best that I wore something a bit warmer.

So here’s my outfit for the night, leather on leather, wasn’t sure if I’d be able to pull of this look, but I think it looks pretty good for a first attempt.

Dress – French connection (Brought over a year ago, haven’t really seen anything like it recently, but you might find something similar on ASOS)

Jacket – Topshop (Not sure if it’s the exact one, hard to tell as they all look so similar on the website)

Shoes – Windsor smith shoes  (Hadn’t planned on buying them a first as everyone seem to have a version of them, but then I was in a shoe shop one day and saw them on sale for $20, and then I tried them on and they was so comfy. So how could I say not to such a good bargain.

On another note if you’ve been following my blog over the last few weeks, you’ll of read my post about not straightening my hair for 6 weeks, which had been going great.(Here’s a link if you haven’t already checked it out) But then I thought seeing as it’s Farther’s day and we don’t go out of dinner very often, I would straighten my hair. So on a few of my photos over the next few days you will see me with straight hair, that’s because I’m trying to avoid washing it and make the most of straightness, while it last. I do however normal wash my hair 2-3 times a week.

Also in another 2-3 weeks I will share with you an update of my hair.

Love this all black look! I’m not sure if I could go without straightening my hair for that long, mine is always such a mess! I probably do need to try and learn how to embrace the waves though x

Such a gorgeous outfit, you definitely pulled off the leather on leather look! Hope you had a lovely time at dinner. Your hair must be in brilliant condition, mine is so dry because I straighten it way too often, I think I’ll put a ban on straightening for the rest of the month:)

I like the leather on leather works really nicely. Especially in the black.

Now that I cut my hair, I never use my straighteners, it’s nice and saves me some good time in the morning. I just need to reduce the amount of hair washing I do, but I really enjoy washing my hair!
