MY GOALS FOR JUNE 2018

Iknow I’ve said this a few times in post over the last year, but after yet another break I’m finally back blogging. I don’t really like talking about it, but I’ve taken so much time off blogging over the past few years due to have a lot on my plate, a day job and to work on my health and wellbeing.The other reason that stops me blogging is the fear of not having enough blog post ideas, photos for Instagram etc, but I’m just going to focus on what ideas and photos I have and then worry about that when I run out of current photos and content ideas.
If you’ve visited my blog over time you may have noticed that it’s changed again.That’s because I just see a new design I love and have to have to recreate it. I loved my last design as it was different to what I’d normally do, but then I came across another design a few weeks ago and I just knew it was time for a change.
I’ve decided thought this is the last time I going to be changing my site for a while as I feel like I use re-designing my site as another way to procrastinating from writing. Also, you may be thinking if I’m always taking breaks from my blog and social media then I don’t really like blogging. I actually love blogging, I’ve been blogging on this blog since 2013, but I’ve been in the blogging world since late 2009 and ever since I’ve had a computer and the internet I’ve always dreamed of doing something online.
Enough of me talking about my personal dilemmas, to ease back into blogging, I’ve decided to share with you my goals for June, as I feel like they’ve changed a lot since I wrote then back in January and sharing there will make me accountable
Health and fitness
I’ve spent the past 6 months working on eating healthier, but feel like I’ve really let my fitness slip over the past year. So really going to make more of an effort to go on a long walk 2-3 times a week. (I would say I go 5 mornings a week, but when I set big goals I never stick to them so figured it’s best to start small) As I feel like it really gives me more energy and the motivation to get more done.
Be more consistent with Instagram
Instagram is my favourite Social media platforms, but I’ve never really been consistent with my content, due to running out of it and more recently not liking my theme. But I’ve been thinking recently and decided I’m not going to stick to any theme and just post whatever I feel like.
Be more conistent with my posting on my blog
In life/school & college I’ve always been on top of everything and always ahead of time, but for someone reason with my blog and social media I’m rubbish at pre-writing content and be consistent. (I think it’s down to the fact that no one else has set me the deadline it’s me and my own deadlines.) I don’t like setting schedules days and times for blog post, but I’m really going to make more of an effort to post once a week, then any more than that will just be a bonus.
Spend more time on my Pinterest
I’ve heard a lot of good things about Pinterest over the years, but never really used it to its full potential, but after checking out my profile the other day and seeing how good my reach was, I figured it was time to start using it more.
Get back into studying
If you don’t already know, I offer Graphic/web designs services over on March Media Co, I also offer social media management, but feel like I still have so much to learn. So a few months ago I signed up for a few online courses, but due to poor time management, I’ve not got around to starting them. So going set aside around 4 hours a week to focus on completing them.
