BEAUTY PRODUCTS I’VE BEEN LOVING

Throughout January!

I‘m trying to vary my content on my blog so thought I would try something new and attempt to do a monthly beauty favourites. Never really been big in beauty in life or on my blog, but really want to get into it more this year.

I had planned on just talking about makeup favourites, but realised that I don’t have enoguh makeup to just keep talking about makeup every month. So all though this post is just makeup based from next month I will be talking about all my favourite beauty products from the past month.

MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Eraser Concealer

Wasn’t a big fan of this a first as it would look to patchy and wouldn’t stay on my face in the hot weather. But as soon as I got the right shade and learn’t how to apply it properly, it’s been my favourite concealer ever since.

It is only meant for the dark circles around your eyes, but as I love the shade and the way it applies I just use it as my general day to day concealer.

RIMMEL Brow This Way Eyebrow Powder Kit

Sadly due to me not having the best eyebrows, eyebrow pencils don’t work for me. So I have to resort to brown eye shadow or eyebrow powder. Which can be hard as they don’t aways have my shade.

So when I came across this a few years ago, I was over the moon. As it wasn’t too expensive and was the perfect shade of brown. The only downside is it comes with a wax, which I’ve tried, but don’t really likes as it doesn’t work well with heat.

RIMMEL Brow This Way Eyebrow Gel

If you don’t use this, I’d defiantly recommend it! As it not only keeps your brows in place but with the hot weather makes your brow powder & brow pencil stay on longer.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

All I have to say is this one of the best mascaras ever, and If you haven’t tried it, then I’d definitely recommend it. It’s the only I’ve been using the past few years. Can be a bit on the pricey side, but it’s defiantly worth it if you want longer and fuller lashes.

MAC Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Plum Foolery

REAL TECHNIQUES Brushes

If you haven’t tried Real Techniques brushes yet, then I defiantly recommend them. A bit on the pricey side, but definitely worth it if you want good quality long lasting brushes. You can buy them in a set or just buy single ones, which I find great if you’re wanting to try out different ones. By doing this I found out that I preferred using the buffing brush instead of the concealer brush for applying my concealer.

MAC VELVET TEDDY Lipstick

Velvet Teddy is probably one of the most loved and hated lipsticks. I was probably one of the last to the party to try it, but have to say it was the best things I ever did. Might not be for everyone, but I have to say it’s the perfect shade for whatever the occasion whether it’s going to the shops or going out to dinner.

Hope you like this style of post. Not big into beauty, but if there are any other beauty style posts you’d like me to do let me know!

Thank you 🙂 For the product section I use shop style collective which is free for anyone to sign up. But if you’re a bigger blogger or have consistent content that they like you may be able to apply and get accepted to reward style which is a similar program. The only difference that I’ve read about is ShopStyle is pay per click and reward style is pay per buy and also think reward style may have a bigger list of brands.
