My Thoughts!

After spending my teen years and early twenties not really into beauty products, I’ve suddenly found a love for all things beauty. I thought I’d start writing posts on testing out new beauty products. Most of the beauty products that I’ll talk about throughout these posts are probably old products to most.
But as I’m late to the beauty game, most of these beauty products will be new to me. Also, as I’m sharing my thoughts, I will be honest and let you know If I liked or disliked any products that I mention.

Hair Coils

I’ve seen people advertising hair coils for quite some time now, so seeing as my current hair ties keep breaking, I thought I’d best give them a try. I have to say I’m very impressed. I loved the fact that they stretched out and then shrink back to their original size without breaking after the first one or two uses. The only thing I would recommend is if you have dark hair, get a dark colour coil so that it blends in.

SOAP & GLORY The Scrub Of Your Life

I’ve tried quite a few different scrubs over the years and have to say that this is one of the best I’ve tried. Not only does it have the most amazing scent, but it also has the perfect texture to it, leaving your skin with a smooth feeling after every use. Also, compared to other scrubs on the market, I find the size great and also love that it’s not too expensive

Thin Cotton Buds

Not much you can say about these as they’re cotton buds. But the thing I love about these ones is there thinner than the normal ones. So as I’m rubbish at applying makeup they great at removing smudges

l’oreal Hydrafresh Mask in Lotion

I saw this on a trip to Thailand last year and thought I’d give it a try, as it’s something I’ve not seen in Australia before. But I’m so glad I did, as it’s just amazing. It’s basically a moisturizer, but it’s not like your standard moisturize, as it’s a bit runnier, which I find perfect for night time, as it leaves your face feeling really smooth and silky.

URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray

I’m probably the last to talk about this, but I’ve had it so long that they’ve since changed the packaging. I only got a sample in this, but I will definitely be buying a full-size next time. After years of using hairspray, I definitely recommend the investment, as it’s better for skin, doesn’t leave it feeling oily, and is also true to its word about it being long-lasting. It gets to 30+ degrees where I live, and somehow my makeup manages to stay on throughout the day when I use it.

Smashbox always on Gel Eyeliner

I find it really hard to find an eyeliner that stays, as I often rub my eyes or they water. My current liner is not best, as it still comes off, but I have to stay that it stays on longer than some of the other eyeliner brands that I’ve tried. So if you have similar problems as me, let me know in the comments about what eyeliner you love to use.

Love trying out new beauty products, so let me know in the comment’s what your favourites beauty product is!

There are some lovely products in this post, I love using the hair coils I tend to pick mine up from Primark they are super cheap! Ive been trying to find some cardboard ear buds to help the environment but I’m finding that super hard!

Love shopping a Primark, wish they had it in Australia. Never see cardboard earbuds before, but will keep my eye out for some.

I need that gel eyeliner, mine always smudges after a few hours. It’s a relatively generic brand but what I like about it is that looks like a fine-tip pen on the end. It can make some excellent straight lines and sharp corners, but the moment I brush my eyes it all smudges away.

I’ve had that problem with quite a few eyeliners, but so far this one has been great.
