After spending my teen years and early twenties not really into beauty products, I’ve suddenly found a love for all things beauty. I thought I’d start writing posts on testing out new beauty products. Most of the beauty products that I’ll talk about throughout these posts are probably old products to most.
But as I’m late to the beauty game, most of these beauty products will be new to me. Also, as I’m sharing my thoughts, I will be honest and let you know If I liked or disliked any products that I mention.
I’ve seen people advertising hair coils for quite some time now, so seeing as my current hair ties keep breaking, I thought I’d best give them a try. I have to say I’m very impressed. I loved the fact that they stretched out and then shrink back to their original size without breaking after the first one or two uses. The only thing I would recommend is if you have dark hair, get a dark colour coil so that it blends in.
SOAP & GLORY The Scrub Of Your Life
I’ve tried quite a few different scrubs over the years and have to say that this is one of the best I’ve tried. Not only does it have the most amazing scent, but it also has the perfect texture to it, leaving your skin with a smooth feeling after every use. Also, compared to other scrubs on the market, I find the size great and also love that it’s not too expensive
Thin Cotton Buds
Not much you can say about these as they’re cotton buds. But the thing I love about these ones is there thinner than the normal ones. So as I’m rubbish at applying makeup they great at removing smudges
l’oreal Hydrafresh Mask in Lotion
I saw this on a trip to Thailand last year and thought I’d give it a try, as it’s something I’ve not seen in Australia before. But I’m so glad I did, as it’s just amazing. It’s basically a moisturizer, but it’s not like your standard moisturize, as it’s a bit runnier, which I find perfect for night time, as it leaves your face feeling really smooth and silky.
URBAN DECAY All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
I’m probably the last to talk about this, but I’ve had it so long that they’ve since changed the packaging. I only got a sample in this, but I will definitely be buying a full-size next time. After years of using hairspray, I definitely recommend the investment, as it’s better for skin, doesn’t leave it feeling oily, and is also true to its word about it being long-lasting. It gets to 30+ degrees where I live, and somehow my makeup manages to stay on throughout the day when I use it.
